Learning how to print and edit
Working in the space industry would be my dream occupation. Gotta start somewhere, so I printed a model of Curiosity, NASA's latest Mars Rover [1]
5/9/13 Found Mars Curiosity Rover by ThePlanetMike on Thingiverse [2]
First iteration (thank you, Dave): Mast/cam and arm/APXS&MAHLI + wheel connectors(blue) on PrusaMendelV2 Body (white) and wheels (black) on Ultimaker Settings to come (.2?)
cam and arm/APXS&MAHLI came out great; mast stumbled near opening at top. body and wheels impressive, but very stringy. Spent much of weekend filing off strings and filing down all blue connectors to fit holes.
5/16 Reprinted mast/cam on Ultimaker two tries: needed to raise temperature on mast toward top so it would continue adhering to base Impressive difference in resolution!

TO DO:

and parts photo find out how to add in the downloaded Thingiverse files; make sure I attribute correctly
