Membership agreement

By becoming a member of Hack Manhattan, I agree to pay dues and fulfill other responsibilities required of members.

I agree that I have read and understood the Member Orientation Briefing wiki page and the documents linked from it, including Hack Manhattan's Rules and Bylaws. I understand that these documents may change from time to time.

I understand that certain rules and obligations applying to members are unwritten. I agree to exercise good judgment at all times.

I have separately signed the liability waiver, and reaffirm my acceptance of it.

I am at least 18 years of age and enjoy full legal capacity.

I understand that I am solely responsible for paying dues on time.

If I wish to resign my membership, I agree to inform the corporation of this fact, and I understand that if I cancel recurring payments of dues with the intention of resigning membership, without informing the corporation, I am liable to pay an assessment of one month of dues.

If my membership is terminated, by resignation or otherwise, I agree to return keys and other access materials to Hack Manhattan. I agree that if I cannot return them in person, I will mail them to the space, at my own cost and risk. I warrant and represent that I am capable of using the services of the United States Postal Service and have not been prohibited from do so, and I am capable of packaging, buying and applying postage, and addressing a shipment, according the rules in the Domestic Mail Manual or other applicable postal regulations.
