Do not the change speed with the gearbox. It appears that the gearbox is broken again and we are going to have to disassemble the lathe again to find out what is actually wrong and if it is gears we will need to find money to buy new onesn, order them and eventually install them. All speed changes need to be made using the rheostat on the front of the motor.
