== "Donations" of assorted items ==

Proposed new rule:

# Any donations of items that are placed at the space are subject to this rule. This rule does not apply to transfers to one specific member who has agreed in advance to retrieve the items within 24 hours or items that are placed directly in member storage by mutual agreement with a member.
# Donations must be approved in advance by a board member and must be accompanied by a full inventory. Any free standing item or container of items forming part of the donation must be clearly labeled with the date and the name of the donor.
# After members have had an opportunity to review the donated items, the donor is responsible for removing any unused items from the space.
# Before items are placed in the space, a $50 deposit must be paid. The deposit will be refunded in full if unused items from the donation are removed no later than 5 days after the initial placement at the space. Half of the deposit will be refunded if the items are removed no later than 10 days after. A larger deposit may be set by the board. The donor must agree to pay the full cost of disposing of the donated items if it exceeds the deposit.
# A member who agrees to retrieve items that are placed at the space by a donor and does not do so within 5 days of the initial placement may be fined up to two times the full cost of disposing the item, or three times the full cost if is not done within 10 days. Notwithstanding the cost of disposal, the fine may be up to $50.
# The board may waive the provisions of this rule for specific donations. It is the policy of the corporation that this rule will be strictly applied to all donations consisting of a large number of small, assorted items.
