Consensus Agenda

New Business

  • (rmd) Would we like to host Girls Who Code events or classes? They prefer women as teachers, so any members or guests who would like to teach a class (someone here can provide a curriculum if desired) please let me know
  • (Thomas Dukleth) In the wake of MakerFaire New York, we should start to consider some isues for planning to obtain the most benefit from exhibiting at the 2014 Hackers on Planet Earth (HOPE) conference which is expected to be held in June or July next year. Based on succcesful experiences promoting and raising funds for the Free Software Foundation (FSF) there are some options to consider generally for HOPE and for raising funds there which should be discussed on the members mailing list. Having t-shirt and sticker options which advertise the name 'Hack Manhattan' or website '' in addition to the nice logo would have many advantages and should be discussed on the more open blabber mailing list.

  • Winston Ford (accepted)
  • Ricardo dePena (accepted)
